Auschwitz Birkenau


Auschwitz Birkenau is a museum commemorating the most horrible in the history of the Second World War, deliberate and organised death factory, which concertation camp build by Nazis was. From the spring 1942 Auschwitz became the largest Jews extermination programme. More than 1,100,000 men, women and also children lost their lives there. Nowadays Auschwitz Birkenau is a preserved, authentic Memorial. The museum consints of two parts of the former concetration camp- the original camp destined for slave labour and the place of mass exterminations equipped with gas chamber and crematorium. It is the only concentration camp added by UNESCO to the list of World Heritage Sites. Throughout the time of the visit in this place everyone has a chance to think over and get to know the gloomiest nooks of human’s spirit and the real effect of evil thoughts brought to life. Everyone should visit Auschwitz, so the history would never repeat the darkest cards in the history of mankind.
